Get fit with Padders

A comfortable fit is one of things that make Padders’ shoes so special. To help you select your perfect fit we have put together an approximate guide to our men’s and ladies fittings as seen below:

Measuring the width of your foot

  1. Stand up with your weight fully on the foot being measured.
  2. Take a flexible tape measure (mm) and pass it under and around your foot at the widest part (across the big and little toe joints) to measure its circumference.
  3. Feet will sometimes swell during the day, so we would suggest that you take a measurement at the start and end of a day to make sure you order the correct fitting.
  4. Compare your measurement with those on our fitting chart and see which measurement is nearest to yours. If your measurement falls in the middle of two fittings, we would suggest you select the wider fitting. Please note that these measurements are averages only as shoe measurements will vary across different styles.

Most of our shoes have leather uppers, linings and cushioned leather insoles. They are made for maximum comfort with padded collars around the heel to perfectly support the foot. Most of Padders shoes are also adjustable, to facilitate easy access and ease of use. A wider fitting is made possible by removal of the footbed. This also allows orthosis to be added where required.

Here at Padders we offer a huge range of men's and ladies wide fitting, comfort leather footwear. A variety of lace up and touch and close casual walking shoes with leather uppers, linings and insoles. The soles are made from PU giving a hard wearing, lightweight sole.
