Padders raised £8,230 for Breast Cancer Care

Padders were delighted to present a cheque to Rowena Finch (Corporate Partnerships Executive) of Breast Cancer Care for £8,230, when she visited their head office recently.
Rowena said, “On behalf of Breast Cancer Care, I’m delighted that Padders are continuing to support us in 2008. The amount raised through the sale of their ‘Pace’ shoe is absolutely fantastic – these funds will go directly towards our range of services to help even more people affected by breast cancer or breast health concerns.”
The money was raised by selling ladies shoes specifically designed for Breast Cancer Care, where £10 from every pair sold was paid to the charity.
This was the third season that Padders has supported Breast Cancer Care with its Limited Edition Breast Cancer Care shoes. And encouraged by the amazing response, they have a Breast Cancer Care shoe for this October too.
Breast Cancer Care provides information, practical assistance and emotional support for anyone affected by breast cancer and their families. These include online discussion forums, one-to-one support and practical services to help with the everyday effects of living with breast cancer.
