At Padders we like to cultivate and nurture our customers so their business matures and grows alongside ours.
In these dark and depressing days, with unseasonal summers and failing economies, we believe it's important for all of us to think positively and look to the future.
We know it's increasingly difficult but want to help by sending you a little sunshine.
What better way than in a packet of sunflower seeds - environmentally friendly, beautiful to look at and the perfect bird food.
All you have to do is plant your seeds, administer a little TLC occasionally and your sunshine should appear.
If you'd like to send us a picture of your sunflower, we will publish it online on this page.
What's more, we are giving away two free tickets to a RHS flower show as first prize for the tallest sunflower grown with Padders seeds. These shows include the RHS show Cardiff, Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park in 2010.
There will also be two runner up prizes of £50 garden centre vouchers.

Terms & Conditions:
1. This competition is open to all Padders’ stockists except for employees of Padders, T Groocock & Co Ltd, their families or anyone else associated with this competition.
2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Entries should be submitted either by via email to lucinda@padders.co.uk or to Padders, Kettering Parkway East, Kettering Venture Park, Kettering, NN15 6WY. Emailed entries must be labelled with the entrant’s name and photos must be 72 dpi and no greater than 2MB. Entrants should include their own name, address and telephone number. Entries will not be returned.
4. All entries must be received by the closing time and date – Wednesday September 30, 2009 at 5.00pm. The winner will be notified within seven days of the closing date of the competition. Only one entry per person. Late entries will not be accepted.
5. All images submitted will be shown on our trade web site www.padders.co.uk/sunshine and the top 3 winners maybe used in our newsletter and in a press release. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
8. The winning entry will be the tallest sunflower grown from the Padders sunflower seeds. The measurement will be taken from the base (above ground) of the stem to the top of the flower head, measured in metric. The top 3 tallest entries will be verified by a Padders’ representative.
10. The winner will win 2 free tickets to a RHS flower show of their choice in 2010 (Cardif, Chelsea, Hampton Court or Tatten Park). The prize is for 2 tickets only - travel or any other expenses incurred, are not included in this prize.The two runners up will each receive a garden centre voucher to the value of £50. The prize is subject to availability. All prizes are non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
11. The winner’s names will be published on the web site www.padders.co.uk/sunshine within seven days of the closing date of the competition.
13. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Padders and accordingly Padders may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Padders as a result thereof.
